Puzzled

Thanks to Karen over at verbatim, I'm hooked on this game. I've conquered the easy, medium and hard puzzles but still need a hint to finish the evil ones. Gotta go, there is an evil puzzle waiting for me.

AH HA! I think I've cracked the secret of the evil, evil puzzle. We'll know after lunch when I have time to eliminate numbers with my meticulous mind.

I will tell the very obvious secret if you like. It is so easy I almost thought it was cheating. So don't read further if you don't want to know.

You can set an option to let you type multiple numbers in each square. Once you type in all the numbers that can fit in each square it becomes evident that some squares can only have one possible answer. That pretty much makes the easy puzzles a breeze. When you get to the hard puzzles you have to use some more logic. Then the evil ones require even more logic BUT the ability to track the numbers in the squares makes life much easier.

Sorry for passing along the sudoku virus -- it's incurable, you know! I do them online and I also print them out to keep them handy whenever I need a fix. Today I was actually looking for a book of them to keep in the car for when I'm a few minutes early for preschool pickup, but I couldn't find one that was all hard puzzles.

There's one piece of logic that you need for some of the evil puzzles. Go to websudoku.com and select Evil Puzzle #4,196,905,731 and tell me how you do!
