Oh The Places I've Been

Here's a map showing all the states I've been to.

You can make one for yourself here.

That was fun! So how many states have you been in? I've been in 38!

I made one of those the other day because I saw it on my friend Rich's site, and I didn't end up posting it because of my incredible lack of states I've been to (only about 10). :(

That's why I didn't do the world map choice... I've only been to Mexico and Canada and the United States. Woe to me!

Does it count if you've been in a state but only inside an airport?
How about if you've driven through a state but only got off the highway at a place where there's a Comfort Inn, a McDonald's. a Craker Barrel, a Starbucks and a Shell station with a mini-mart and a combo Taco Bell/KFC, and the people that work there all look like clones of the people in the last place you stopped, so that you could be in almost any state in the union and you feel very secure because everything looks familiar but you have no idea what that state is really like and you start thinking that maybe the whole country is becoming one big, stinking, generic mass of franchise stores?
Does that count?

If you're driving through a state I would count it because hopefully you've at least looked out the window :) But I wouldn't count just an airport stop.

The shape of Mass. looks out of proportion to me

Posted by: Dad at February 23, 2004 08:51 PM

Does the proportion of Mass affect gravity?
Does the gravity of Mass make them solemn and dignified?

Posted by: Isaac at February 24, 2004 05:05 AM

What is the weight and center of gravity of Mass?
What is the weight of Senator Kennedy of Mass?

So many questions............

I have never been out of the country...how pathetically sad *hint hint*...well ive been to niagra falls but thats like going to pigon forge with watter
