Researchers must be faculty members in the Department of Psychology at UNLV, post-docs working with a faculty member, or students supervised by a faculty member. To conduct an experiment using the Subject Pool, researchers should first obtain approval from UNLV's Institutional Review Board (IRB). Also, all researchers, experimenters, and lab assistants must pass the CITI online ethics tutorial.

Next, submit the following materials via email to the Subject Pool Coordinator:

-Copy of IRB approval

-Description of the study to be posted on Experimetrix

-The # of participants you think you will test

-The # of credits the study will be worth (30 minutes = 0.5 credit, 1 hour = 1 credit, etc.)

Once the Subject Pool Coordinator has received these materials, you will be issued an Experiment # and password (feel free to change this) for Experimetrix. Follow the "Using Experimetrix" link below to learn how to post your experiment.
