Focus :
The East Ely Railroad Deot Museum is housed on the historical Nevada Northern Railway complex. Its mission is to collect, preserve, study, and interpret the vast industry of eastern Nevada including mining, railroading, and smelting.
Collections:
The document collection of the Nevada Northern Railroad is an astounding collection of primary source material detailing the administration, financial, legal, and technological operations of Nevada's last operating short line railroad. The museum maintains employee payrool records from 1906 until 1983 as well as some smelter worker records. Engineering drawings, blueprints, maps, and photographs are also available.
