Clicker vendors

  • If you want to try clickers, the publisher of the textbook you use probably offers one or two systems and can bundle clickers with new, shrink-wrapped textbooks for an additional charge.  I have listed the clicker systems that I know of at this time, and the textbook publisher(s) they partner with.  (If you do not see your publisher on the list, contact your sales rep.)  In some cases, the link will take you to a page where the publisher lists two or three systems that are available.  At least one of these systems, iClicker, is available independent of any publisher, in case you don't like the particular system offered by your textbook publisher.
  • Disclaimer:  This list is incomplete.  I have not tested or reviewed most of these systems.  The inclusion or exclusion of a particular system from this list does not imply endorsement or rejection.
  • iClicker (Prentice Hall, Worth/Holzbrink, Wiley, possibly others, and available independently of any publisher)
  • Turning Technologies (McGraw-Hill, Thomson Learning & Thomson/South-Western)
  • Interwrite Learning PRS (Prentice Hall)
  • PRS (Pearson, Addison-Wesley)
  • H-ITT (Pearson, Addison-Wesley)
  • CPS (McGraw-Hill)
  • CRS (Houghton Mifflin)
  • CRS (Wiley)
  • If you know of another system that should be on this list, please email me the info and I'll add it!  Thanks!
